No need for bi amping with the 01. It has plenty of power to power your Rtia series polks. No need to add power amps.

    Enjoy the excellent receiver.

Them 9's will benefit more from a external amp. Doesn't have to be a real expensive amp to get the job done. $200 would be a nice start. Very cheap price for the performance gain.

Yeah a guy I work with spend like 2 grand on his nada amp, I think thats pretty insane, I can get the reciver for $550 bucks, what would you recommend for a $200 amp? A link would be cool. And if I have the reciver why not bi amp it? any negitives to doing so?

If your primary concern is for HT the Elite should work fine with the A9's but if music is more the concern then an external for the A9's will really make them come alive. No negatives bi-amping with the Elite but i would be suprised to see any tangible gain. That said, why not try it and see if you like it

A used Adcom 545($200) or Adcom555 ($300). The good thing about both of these amps are when your ready to upgrade you can sell them for the same price you paid or even more.

Also You might want to look into a 5 channel amp to run your whole rig which can be had for about $400 starting off.
