Before I start out on one of my SDA roadtrips, I was hoping to find some help in hauling a pair from Raleigh towards Atlanta. If anyone(preferably a veteran) who has done this before and has the means and is willing to help,I will gladly pay for some fuel costs. So, if you find yourself going thru/from Raleigh to Georgia, please pm me or post here.
Thanks in advance
George.

I've got a truck. My wife will freak if I bring them to my place, but can get them over to Fireman's... I'm sure he'll be happy to "store" them for awhile.

Unlike George, I do not plan to part with mine until I end up in a similar size box myself.....:D

George, it looks like I will pick up the speakers around 2:00pm Friday afternoon and I will have some rain gear in case I run into showers along the way :D. We'll have to play it by ear with Fireman Dave [he can only make it for one day and not an over nighter] Still have yet to get in touch with Lightman's sorry **** but I'm sure I'll talk to the butt munch sometime tonight. Aldous_Huxley is planning on meeting us there as well to do the other speaker swap. He's looking forward to meeting all you nutcases and listening to some SDA's for the first time.

Just so there is no confusion, this mini-PF is going to be held in Atlanta at Ben's pad and not in Charlotte, NC. If Lightman [Russ] takes his own car with some other folks, I will have an extra seat in the cab of my truck if anybody wants to hitch a ride down there from Charlotte.

The plans are to meet at Ben's house this Saturday. The usual strippers and beer will be there for your entertainment. Chicken races are to be held Sunday morning with the winner getting Lightman's assless chaps he got from Doro. Good luck to all of you. You know you want 'em!

Heiney, you plannin' on attending? Where's the ol' Zombieboy?

I bought a pair of 1C's from george 2-3 years ago...I ended up selling them to another CP member.

A move I have regretted ever since...but they are in good hands.

I have a pair of SDA's back in the house now,a set of CRS+'s that are giving me that vintage Polk sound that I enjoy.

    In most cases,once you go SDA,you don't go back:D

BTW,good on ya george and all the great people here to help out along the way.

Tom, I'd love to, but it's a bit short notice to be making a road trip of that distance. I really wish I could 'cause with the exception of Lightman and Fireman, I've not had a face to face with anyone else attending.

I let you know if I have a last minute change of plans

Good deal. I talked to Lightman tonight and our plans are somewhat revolving around you and the other Dave's plans. Talk to your people and I'll talk to my people and we'll see if we can totally confuse the hell out of one another. Cool?
