I have a new setup with my Sony STR-DA6400ES and an RM95 set (4 RM8 satellites and an RM8 center) and a PSW111 sub. On account of being too lazy to do all the extra cabling, I used the LFE out on the receiver to the sub and I used the individual channel outs on the receiver to each of the fronts, center, and surrounds.
My question is about a couple settings the DA6400ES offers and how to find the optimal setting. If there is no source for such things, then I'd appreciate any recommendations. The receiver comes with a stereo mic and does auto calibration, but I never trust such things. The settings in questions are:
Thanks in advance.

The receiver comes with a stereo mic and does auto calibration, but I never trust such things. The settings in questions are:
- Impedence (choose 4 or 8)
- Crossover Frequency (currently set to 120Hz for the Fronts, 140HZ for the cenger and 110Hz for the surrounds). This might be a factory setting or this might be bad settings from when I was messing with the auto calibration. This Crossover Frequency is really the heart of my question.
Thanks in advance.

Correction... It's Subwoofer out, not LFE out that I used.

Welcome to Club Polk. Sorry it took 2 days to answer your question. The impedence is 8, everything else looks good. Enjoy.I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

I'd lower the center's crossover frequency. 100-120 Hz is the ideal range for this system- play it by ear-Eric
