    Again, EVEN IF YOU don't think he has earned the respect in your mind...he was still elected to the office by people who's respect he did earn. I don't/didn't like Bill Clinton...but I still would never advocate/wish he suffer bodily harm by anyone and I respect his status as a former President of the United States. Again you don't have to like or agree with the person...but he did earn the position via an election of the citizens of the United States. That in and of itself deserves respect IMO.

    BTW this is not a political position...It is a position as a proud citizen of the United States of America...regardless of what political party happens to be in power at any given time.
