In just going through gear I don't use as much as I should, I'm going to put the Denon beast up here. Some say this is the best receiver Denon ever made. The 4800 is an absolute monster with it's toroidal and powerful amps. I actually used it as a 2 channel integrated with the Source Direct feature and it was shockingly good. It's worth the money alone as a good 2 channel integrated.
It's in great shape with only a small section of sticker marks on the front bottom of the faceplate. Hardly noticeable. The remote door cover is broken off, but remote is fully functional. These big receivers are hard to find because people don't want to let them go. I know I'll regret this later.
$200 pick up only
Shipping this the way I like to pack things would be about $100 in shipping so local only.

Any search for it will yield tons of great reviews, including Sterophile. I'm attaching the original product sheet.

Man I remember installing them all those years ago. What a great receiver. I will have to agree with the best receiver Denon ever made. This was the one that I felt had awesome Dynamic range as most others did not.
For 200.00 bucks someone is getting a monster. I love it.
Wish you well with your sale

Thanks, Dan. Yea, I have a friend who's father did theater installations until 2001 and he said about the same thing. The amps on this are true 150 watt amps. The fact that it draws 12.1 amps from the outlet shows that it really can drive 5 x 150w. Like I said, this would be a great receiver to drive any LSi's as either 2 channel or home theater. Just my 2 cents.

I'm at work and I already know I'm going to miss this one:( -
Thanks gdb! Ya saved me from myself.
Third rig?-would've been 4th or maybe 5th if you count the pool rig.
The 3rd is at the office. a pair of LSi9's. I keep swapping between the Carver TFM-15CB, the little HCT Tube amp, and now the Cambridge 640A/540C setups.
Now if only I could get those darn neighbors of my to lay off the telcons so I can turn it up. :D____________________
