No derailing this is just a lovefest for us > 50+ folks, that might be breaking down in some ways, but still having lots of fun. If you're under 50 posting on this thread and falling apart, that's your own damned fault :p

BTW, I joined AK a couple of weeks ago since there seemed to be more Luxman knowledge going on over there. Posted some questions about the lack of bass . Today I had to bite the big one and close out that thread with some truth. Fortunately, not many read it

    Thanks Ben,I wasn't trying to derail Ron's thread...D

Can anyone posting in this thread actually remember what Ron's original post was about?

Yeah he goofed up and forgot he had set his Sony to small for the mains and was wondering where his bass had went. It's ok I had sent an amp in to get new caps put in and when I got it back it didnt sound like it did before and I had thought it had been a mistake doing it until I realized that virtually all my setting on my Oppo had changed not sure how to be honest, I dont remember changing them, perhaps it had reset itself to a factory default. Once I had changed it back all was well. :)

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

I think the Doctor told me last year my cholesterol was a little high. Is that right? Hell, who can remember that far back. I forget what a lot of dairy products even taste like so I’m getting old and forgetful. Hello lobster man, I need 100 lbs of lobster for New Years Eve. Order complete! God I love being old and forgetful. :D:p

Holy cr@p! Is it really that long, or are you just boasting? Maybe your legs are very very short ... ?! I was not aware that they stretched with age.
