My son plays it and loves it. He designs his own maps and everything. It's a pretty cool game.

I feel like im getting a little old for gaming.. I just dont have the time anymore. Back in 99 I would play starcraft all the time and yes.. create tons of maps.

I only wish I was a kid again today to be able to do this thing and let my imagination run wild.. but I did good 9 years ago.

Anyhow, I've only just gotten into this game.. I'm in South America still hah.. but I've only played it like twice. I'm going to take my time with it and I think its going to be quite an enjoyable game. The introduction continent, NA, was a bit lame but the game has picked up and it feels to me like a new age mario that if they had bosses to jump on it would be 100% perfect.. but this isnt mario.

I know how you feel... I used to play games all day when I was younger, but I just can't spend the time it takes to really get into crative games like this anymore. The game looks awesome though, I still want to check it out.

Ok, I know I'm pretty late to the party here since this was released a few months ago- but I just saw this today and it absolutely blew my mind. The guy who did this is insanely smart!

obviously I haven't played the game so I have no idea what is going on with that... looks like he designed his own calculator? uuuhhh ok. Why?

yeah, he designed an 8 bit calculator. Part of the point of the game is that they give you all these tools to make levels and stuff for the game, and it's supposed to be cool because the game has a really good physics engine. The tools they give you are so flexible though that some people are coming up with really crazy creations that the developers never even thought of. So I can only guess as to the guy's motivation, but it was probably just to create something difficult and unique that nobody would have thought of.

There is nothing built into the game that allows you to count or add or any of that stuff. The numbers are just pictures of numbers. So the guy essentially built a binary calculator out of physical objects- wires and switches and stuff connected to the thing that displays the pictures of the numbers (that part it shows at the end of the video shows how crazy it looks). Maybe pointless to some people, but I think it's pretty damn impressive. Of course, I was a computer science major so that stuff interests me :P

I hear ya manman, I just think it's funny he took a game on a powerful machine like the PS3 and he took a game that looks very indepth and he says "I want to make a calculator." Not even a crazy one, just an 8 bit. haha Still ridiculously impressive.
