Center speaker upgrade concern

Hello!

I recently upgraded my HT receiver to an Onkyo TX-SR606, currently have two Monitor 50's and an RM3600 in the front. Would like to upgrade the RM3600 to a CSi25, CS1 or CS2.

Based on some of the other threads in the troubleshooting forum, I am concerned about impedance: the receiver is rated at 6 ohms minimum, the current center is 8 ohms, and the candidates are all 4 ohms / "compatible with 8 ohms".

Should I be concerned?

The room is relatively small - R50's are about 10 feet apart, and a couch is about 10 feet from the speakers / LCD display. Will I notice a difference between the three candidates? Is one strongly recommended over the others?

    You'll be fine!

So do you have the Monitor 50's or R50s?

I have the CS2 with my Monitor 70's and they play very nice together. Like Eric said, do you have the Monitor 50's or the R50's, you kind of changed your story towards the end, lol. They are both 8 ohm speakers and handle about the same wattage so I am assuming (ASSUMING, lol) that they sound about the same. I would recommend the CS1 for your center channel, it seems to be the best match to either one, but that is just my $.02
