Not sure how I've managed to live over six decades without ever hearing, or even hearing of, Curt Boettcher and a folk group he had in the early '60s called the Goldebriars. Heard some tracks from their obscure 1963/64 albums on Vermont Public Radio's My Place tonight. Interesting arrangements and superb harmonies.
Boettcher would go on to produce The Association's "Along Comes Mary" and "Cherish" (among others), as well as record some pretty remarkable, Beach Boys-esque pop music with a couple of obscure studio-created bands.
I am a sucka for stuff like this.

I wonder if the sales of the different Polk speaker lines follow Zipf's law.

I used to also perform a similar folding trick with a $20 for my sons.
I'd do a different fold that produced a different picture.
Pretty neat IMO although my sons' responses usually involved swear words.

I was and am absolutely blown away by this story. This was from Brad Meltzer's Lost History. I had never heard of this Love Triangle. I'm a huge Clapton fan and had no idea.
Anyways. .... that guitar is in my storage unit!
