Hi

My PSW650 has worked beautifully for over 5 years until now. The power will not come on. I checked the Fuse and it is Okay. So I measured the windings on the transformer and found the primary to be wide open. The number on the top of the xfmr is 54-0013-0000, is this available? If not, are the specs available to find a suitable replacement.

Does the service center in San Diego sell parts? I will be in Chula Vista later next week and wondering if I can pick up the part while I am there.

Thanks!

Thank for the response. I went to go measure the secondary and had no output, that is when I discovered that the primary windings are open.

Would love to find a source for parts, or maybe someone who has a dead amp that the transformer is still good. If possible when one is being serviced or looked at , a quick measurement of the secondary voltages would help alot. I could always over spec the transformer. Thanks for the link to your DIY post, I may go ahead and check these and grab the components from a local supplier while I have this thing apart.
