It's a wacky looking crib I know but I'd like to hear what you think. I really love this place and I've just finished the audio/visual wall.

Nice place, but....crib? (and it's THRONE, not thrown).... :D

I looked at that stand too from Best Buy.......like the function of it, but wasn't sure I'd like the stepped up effect and short top shelf......

I like the antique lookin radios to the left....

Thanks everybody. If there is a Polffest in Vegas, I'll be there. I've been buying Polk for 20 years.
I've had many people shake a finger at me for placing my TV on top of my Center channel speaker. You are the first to know that the TV clears the speaker by 16th inch and pivots on a seriously sturdy knuckle.
    BTW, the radios are real.

How do you like your Panasonic? I just got a couple of TH-42PZ85U's..... have one downstairs in the library/family room and one in the bedroom. I really like ours so far, it sure does SD very well too!

I bought a 70W x 2 Sony receiver and a pair of cheap ECI speakers during a poor and lesser experienced time in my younger days. Since then, I've stuck with Sony more as a product of an evolution rather than the sonic capabilities of the brand. Still, the ES line does a very nice job for the buck and Sony is consistently sturdy and reliable equipment.
The Panasonic TV has the prettiest picture I've ever seen. I searched long and hard before I bought. Best Buy wanted $2300 for it, plus taxes and delivery. I bought it from Beach Camera on-line and I got it delivered to my door for $1700. It is a fantastic machine. I've been shooting with dSLR cameras (Pentax) for 5 years now. I had no idea how well my pictures would show on a big screen. Great home theatre aside, the SD slot and the TVs ability to display .jpeg digital photograph immaculately is now the biggest two thumbs up I can give the big screen.
Hey Mr. Comfortably Numb in Georgia, I spent many-a-year comfortably numb in Georgia myself...long ago. Have you ever heard of the Champagne Jams? I was at all of them. They say I had a great time.
I guess the place is looking like a flashback. I didn't mean to look so 1968 but the two corners behind the towers seem to dominate. I love it anyway and it stays. It does match my personality...man.
Anyway, "No sign of intelligent life here captain. Beam us aboard."

Good fun Igo! Rock on! I miss my retro stuff from the '60's. But since I was there in the 60's, I guess it wasn't retro.

George Daniel and I are on our way to get "numb" at your place. If the doorbell rings, don't answer:p;)
