Panasonic BD35 Bly ray

Anyone have any experience with the panasonic BD35 Blu ray player. Any good. They have it by me for $224 ok sale. Whats you opinion?

    It's excellent player and for that price to me it's a no brainer. I have Installed the 55 which is Identical to the 35 except the 55 has preouts analog for older receivers and preamps. If I didn't already have the Ps3 , I would own it myself. I typically don't buy any players under 1000.00 as I found over the years most of them suck. But today the quality has got a lot better on the lower end priced players and this player is a winner.

    So it gets the mantis seal of approval based off the 55

    Same acceptable quality from the Sony S550? I might be able to get one for $100 with the purchase of my 52" sxrd LCD

    The Sony is built alittle better then the Panasonic. The 550 doesn't have all internal decoding. but for 100 bucks man, steal Bro. Steal.

    These prices are insane. I love it you guys getting into gear for incredible prices and it's good quaoity stuff, not no name crap.

    Usually I'm all for the $1000 players too, but for right now, I figure it'sa new enough thing that there are all in one's on the horizon where I'll do a serious upgrade at that point, while using my older Denon 2900 for everything other than the Blu-Ray stuff which the 550 will do for a while
