I woke up this morning to an unexpected snowstorm. I already have what looks like 3 inches on the ground. I'll get some pics up in a bit-trying to get the kids to school. or maybe we'll go sledding. ;)

Oh and this only started a 2-3 hours ago. I could still see the ground with the light flurries when I got my shower this morning.
Bad accidents everywhere-traffic is gridlocked in my area-I'm stuck home right now-I'm trying to get the kids to school though- We'll see how that works out. The Bus never arrived this morning for my 5yo. I think the bus was stuck in dead stop traffic.

Very pretty, but you can keep that white stuff. It hurts me just to look at it!
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Absolutely beautiful! If you don't mind me saying so, you have a gorgeous location for a house.

Lucky you. It must have rained last night just before it got cold cause I had snow all over my truck and about a 1/4 inch of ice underneath it in South Jersey this morning. I'd rather have snow than ice. Took forever to get in to work today because of it.

Nothing is sticking in Philly yet and South Jersey had what amounts to a dusting this morning.

I was raised in the Stonybrook section of Levittown. Haven't been back there in awhile though...how's the area holding up? A lot of fond memories still serve me well. Now I'm a S.Jersey transplant.

Not much snow to report here though, but it's a coming this year I suspect.

Thanks! Its one of the reasons we chose it. Nice and private in the summer. In all its 2.3 acres, that's an acre of all woods out back that's all mine to play in  When the boys get older we'll build some cool stuff out there and so on and so on and so on. We'll be working on a cool sledding hill this year-didn't expect this snow

Well in Paoli and KOP (only 8-12) miles away, you would never knew it even snowed-Ground is dry.

I knew I should have stayed home today--I attempted to drop my boy off to Kindergarten, and while I got there wil little problem, I couldn't get back home. The serious accident on 202 had traffic snarled everywhere. I tried back roads but it was just bad everywhere. Whiel sitting in traffic I rolled my Passenger window down to take a picture of some of the scenery, when I heard a grinding sound from my door.:eek: The assembly that rolls the window up and down broke. The window wouldn't roll back up  So now I had to sit intraffic with a window stuck down, while driving about 10 miles out of the way just to get back home 2 miles away.
I ended up driving into Paoli to get my car fixed. The dealership was able to look at it right away. 3 hours later its fixed (they had to pick up a part) under warranty. Now that's service. Of course hanging out with my 3yo for 3 hours in a dealership with brand new $80k '09 corvettes was, needless to say, stressful.
Well I'm finally back home. Phew! The snow has mostly melted, but its still hanging in there on the grass.

EDIT: Doh--the snow started up again as I was typing that.

That is some gorgeous snow and the house doesn't look too shabby either. We should have a mini-PA/NJ Polkfest there :). Nothing like being forced to listen to music from being snowed in.

    We could do that.
We've had some big parties here-most so far has been about 90 (incl. kids), but the former owners reportedly had over 125 in attendance :eek:. I don't recall if those #s were total thoughout the day or all at once.
Parking is not an issue, which I think is the main factor as to why we're able to handle so many people.
Don't have to worry about blasting the neighbors either-well maybe with the outdoor speakers ;).
