Polk Surroundbar First Gen

Hi, so I'm having a problem with my Surroundbar. It's a first generation, I bought it used a couple of years ago. It's been working great since then and I really love it in my strangely shaped room.
But the last month or so it has been acting funny, the center speaker started to cut in and out randomly, then it started to go out for longer periods of time or until I got up and tapped the top of the speaker until the center came back on. BUT now it's completely out, I have readjusted the speaker wire taking out the inputs on both the speaker side and receiver side but no luck.
Any ideas or thoughts?
Chris.

Welcome to the forum. Try taking a look inside the speaker to determine if all of the connections are well connected. I am unfamiliar with your particular speaker and its build design, but the inside should be accessible by removing either the tweeter, woofer or by removing the speaker connector cup.
If this is too much trouble tonight, just hook the speaker up to one of the main speaker cables and listen at low to reasonable levels [so you don't blow the speaker] and see if it is in fact the speaker itself. Then, come Monday just contact Polk Customer Service. They will no doubt walk you through your options. Good luck on a quick fix.
