Whats up guys. I'm gonna give up my babies.

There are many pic's of my speakers on the forum but I can take new ones if anyone wants. I have to original boxes, manuals everything.

I'm looking for 1400.00 and I'll slip shipping costs. Local anyone can stop by to hear them for themselves. They are truly my favorite pair of speakers I have ever owned and heard up to 3k price.

They are Maple.

I do have a full 7.1 Dynaudio Audience system which includes the 122c center , 2 pairs of 42w rears and a Sub 500 all in maple. If someone wants to put together a high end 7.1 theater system, I'd be willing to sell them 2. I would make a package deal.

    Thanks again,

Good luck with the sale. It would be lots of fun to have a shoot out with your 82's and my 220's. I think the 82's might have the edge because those woofers look bigger than mine and an extra midrange driver.

Thanks man, they are truly incredible sounding speakers. tight clean bass response , beautiful strong midrange and highs to die for. I love em.

I have heard the 220's many times. I know they will be a good compare. Extremely close.

Those babies look absolutely beautiful; I love the way you can place the grills on the back to show off the drivers while having the grills safe.

You all know how I changed speakers in the past....until I heard Dynaudios. This can really be your last pair of speakers, and at that price is a no brainer.

Thanks. I also love the grill holder in the back of the speaker. It's awesome. Down the road my next pair or system will be another Dynaudio system.

LOL thats my wife 's doing. We where in Leather Expressions years ago looking at new furniture for our house we where building(the one in the pic) and she found that mirror. She just had to have it and it changed the entire theme of our familyroom. It was going to be all earth colors but after the mirror, we went full color. You should see the rest of the house. LOL

Them are some nice speakers! Im actually in the market to spend right around that much for some svs mts-01s. Are these that much better than the svs??? One concern I would have is my onk 805 wouldnt be able to drive the 4 ohm load. I would have to by a seperate amp to push these puppies...
    But they are beautiful!
Living Room setup: Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH, Krell KAV 300i, PS Audio DL III DAC, Tyler Acoustics Taylo 7u, Dynaudio Audience 120C+, SVS 25/31PCI, B-P-T Clean Power Center, Ps3, Panny 50" S1 Plasma, Tekline speaker cables, Audio Art interconnects, and Pangea power cables.

Not even in the same league.

Good Luck, Dan. Hate to see you sell your babies, but good luck with it. Hope the employment front works out for you.

I've always liked that idea as well.

Yes a separate would be required. You wouldn't want to power them with a receiver. They need real current to sing. I would challenge any speakers 3 grand and under against them. Any.

I would say that shootout would not even be fair, the Dyn's would give the SVS's a severe case of red ****, totaly different league. It would be a worthly investment for someone looking to get a system to perform for movies and music they really are a great speaker which are well cared for.
I would think an NAD or B&K reciever would drive them pretty well but a sep. amp would be better.

I powered my old Dynaudio 1.3mkII and a Dynaudio center channel with a $200 yamaha receiver for a year until I could afford an amp. You'll be fine with the onkyo, just keep the volume within reason.

ahhh the 1.3's yes such fantastic speakers. Man I installed so many systems with them when I worked for Soundex. We mostly powered them with B&K. Some systems went out with Krell Showcase. That was truly a killer system. The older sub to, the Contour sub which was huge. I forget the model number, Imagine that...

Also mantis I noticed your reply in another post that the svs mts-01's were not in the same league as the Polk lsi's. I was wondering if you heard them in person with the new crossovers. Thats what I was saving up for, a pair of mts-01s.

These are staying here until further notice. I have no plans anymore to sell them. I can't part with them. If I get in serious trouble, then I would but I'm fine right now and I love them 2 much.
Sorry but I gotta keep em.
