I'm selling my Elite dvd/sacd/dvd audio/cd player. I have the box, remote , manual and powercord. The remote was never used as I always used a Universal type remote to control my system.

It's in great shape 8 out of 10 due to age. It works great and sounds even better. It's a great Audio DVD player. I never felt the need to own a better cd player. It's smooth and natural sounding. Great for a audio system or a 2nd dvd player . Or even a 1st dvd player.

If you need pic's, I can take new ones. if you search in here , you will find pic's of mine.

150.00 Shipped

I have owned one of these for years and use it with a VSX-84txsi. I use mine for SACDs and DVD Audio discs via the i-link. The 84 was the last pio elite AVR to have the i-link connection capability (which is why I haven't upgraded.) Pioneer's i-link connection is widely considered to be the best audio connection, period. Very high bit rate sampling and a great transport system make this a great machine. The DV59avi is a step up and has a better video playback section, but for audio, this unit when combined with a i-link capable Elite AVR, cannot be beat.

For $150 bucks, this is a real no-brainer for anyone with an i-link capable Elite AVR.

Sorry the Dv47a does not have the I link on it. It's pre Apple....LOL You are thinking of the dv47ai which has the I link. But everything else you said about the player is true. It's fantastic. I have owned it since the very first day it hit the market. I got 2 of 3 which Soundex got on release date. We sold 1 and one was for the floor, I took the other. I was so excited to get it. I still have feelings for it...did I just type that????

    Damn I need help

I received the DV-47a on Monday in "like new" condition, even the original box looked new. Dan takes extremely good care of his equipment. I got my new player set-up in very short order, it was nice that all the programming was already done, nothing to change. I am using the analog multi-channel inputs on my reciever for the 1st time so I had to get a little trial and error experience over a couple of beers, I didn't want to take the time to read the manual. Dan was kind enough to accidentally loan me Norah Jones "Come Away With Me" in SACD which was a very pleasant surprise and my first exposure to SACD. I had to go out yesterday and get my own copy, this is an exceptional SACD. I listened to the digital area and both analog outputs in 5.1 and 2 channel, it's really a tough call, it's all good. In 5.1, it sounds like Norah is literally sitting in the same room, but if I had to pick a preference, I think I would more often take the 2 channel option.

I replaced my NAD T571 with this Pioneer. The NAD was great for video and I had no complaints until she died an untimely death. The Pioneer is most definitely an upgrade for audio and even with very limited experimentation so far with video, I am well pleased. Thanks Dan for offering such a great deal on a quality piece of equipment.
