Hello guys,
I currently have an avr-645 and get little bass from my rti10, I have considered buying an rotel rmb-1085 which is 100 watts per channel vs my 75watts. If I were to biamp the speakers with the 1085 would I see any improvement? Second question is for down the road would the 1085 work well with a 5 channel lsi setup(lsi25 mains)?

Can you explain what this means
4 ohm load, 1kHz, <1% THD: 180 watts
Would these specs give me good audio with lsi?

Thanks for the help

I currently have 16 guage monster cable.

As for the 1085 being measured at 4 ohm load, 1kHz, <1% THD: 180 watts, I noticed the newer models were mesured 200 watts x 5/ch (20-20 kHz, 0.03% THD, 4 ohms. Would this difference be worth waiting for the newer model rmb-1565?

    Thanks for your help

You should get some 12guage or at least 14 guage speaker cables like audioquest or DH labs T-14 cables.I use the T-14 hooked up in a shotgun configuration and love it.(that makes it 11 guage)Monster is overated

If you are planning on stepping up to the LSI's then YES wait for the RMB-1565 to come out & get that. It will make a big difference with the speakers you have now as well.

As for speaker wire take a look at Monoprice, BlueJeans Cable, and Signal cable for better wire.

    Welcome to Club Polk.:)
