I became a first time dad at 12:06AM on Tuesday.

Audrey Grace came in weighing a hearty 9lbs 1.5 oz and 21 3/4"

There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    Good deal! Congratulations!
I remember being up in the middle of the night with nothing to do while rocking the baby back to sleep. No TV or nothing in the room.
Make sure you have a laptop nearby so you can stay in the Club Polk loop in those late seemingly endless hours. ;):D

    Congratulations!

Nothing can compare to the feelings of seeing your first newborn. When my daughter was born, I just stood at the nursery window and stared at her. I was so involved in just taking it all in that I forgot to run to the lobby to tell the eagerly waiting family (and to take off my scrubs too)!

    Enjoy!!

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Congratulations James to you and your wife on the arrival of your beautiful gift from God, Audrey Grace. Wow what a beautiful baby for being 15 minutes old.:D

I remember when my 25 year old made his debut, there is no feeling like it and at 15 minutes old he looked like Rocky Balboa after his first fight with Apollo Creed.:D

    Congrats. Now things get interesting.
At my age, I'm waiting for grandchildren. That involves
a lot more sleep at night. Good luck and hang in there.
