They were political and made a turn for the worse late last night."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

It would be nice to see a placeholder or something when a thread or post is deleted. Sometimes I swear I'm losing my mind when I know I saw or read something and there is no apparent explanation for somethgin disappearing. If there is a placeholder or somethign to state that the post or thread has been deleteed for violation of Forum Rules, then I would at least know I wasn't losing it and so that others can be more aware that the rules are/were enforced. Just a thought.____________________

At least the method typically exercised now usually leaves little doubt as to why they were deleted if you were involved in the thread. -

Kris Siegel wrote: »That can be done and is considered a "soft delete". I think this is not done as sometimes even the title of the post is against the rules. Also, soft deleting a thread can sometimes open up more threads asking why it was deleted by folks who never went into the thread.

I like that method over the current method, but a removal of post or editing of post stating issue is a best method. IMHO
It would stop where's that "Thread" threads.

So my post offering $100 to anyone/everyone who could answer my trivia question was deleted ?
Dang.
You know what, though: it's still a good day.
