I picked this up on Tuesday. It is an excellent change of pace from Cod4. I reached lvl 28 today and really want to use that flame thrower. This game does use the trueskill ranking system to match players. I noticed this today when I got on and faced drastically improved competition. On tuesday I was owning everyone and frequently "unleashing the dogs", today, not so much. My kdr dropped like a stone, 1.8 to 1.3. I need some good teammates to employ strategy to avoid getting owned. Send me an invite if you want to play.

Can anyone with PS3 test it out with keyboard and mouse? I suspect there is no support but I really want to know before buying it for PC. If it is 1080p then there really is no problem with graphics being inferior.

FYI- It's region free so you could go to your local Japanese game store and pick up a copy.

No, no 1080p on PS3. The game may support 1080p output, but it is just scaled up. Probably is at 720p.

But remember Halo3 and Haze were below 700p... still looked pretty good. PC will look better with a decent video card, but I have better speakers in my game room... and CoD 4 looked plenty good on my PS3.

Damn, PC it is then. I suspect there was no kbm support either so my only PS3 FPS game so far is UT3 which does not look good at all (720p). Looking forward to go back to WWII though (no pun intended) .

Anyone interested in gaming tonight hit me up. My hours at the office have been cut back so I'm off on Fridays now so I should be on for quite a while tonight into wee hours of the morning (EST). Just in case someone doesn't know, gamer tag is Grimster74.

I got my first play of this game last night and it seemed pretty fun. Granted, I'm a PC guy and I was at a buddies house playing it on his Xbox so I couldn't get a REAL feel for the game. :p The regular combat seem pretty decent, but the zombie mode was AWESOME. We played many rounds of that I think that is worth it just for the asking price.

Agreed. Graphics looked the same to me, which makes them great. The game play is still real lively and the world interactions are fantastic.

Hi guys, what’s the highest level that you've got up to on zombies i can’t seem to get past level 14 (with a party) . Apparently the game designers have only been to level 23.

Thats pretty much what I would say too. I'd say the environments of the maps might be better for showcasing the graphics (more plants, water), but essentially its the same.

After weeks of my wife saying "just wait for christmas" I bought this bad boy last night, and WOW is all I can say. I have not played online yet just solo, but the graphics are very good and sound is good as well, not to mention how fun the game is so far and I played 1hr that's it. Tonight I plan on putting a dent in it and trying out online.

I'm in that same boat right now. I want to get this game and Gears of War 2, but my wife wanted Christmas ideas so I gaver her these two games.

I'm currently renting COD, took it back and checked it back out again lol. probably just rent it until Christmas since it doesn't really cost me anything. :D

    Sorry it's PS3.

Crap I never thought of renting it but at 7$ week x 4 weeks I almost bought the game. So I told them they can buy me FC2 Shawn White Snowboarding and Rockband2.
Seeing as I'm on a gradual return to work and have every 2nd day off I want to keep busy, plus my wife spent money on a christmas party outfit and manicure I thought since I'll never go to my xmas party I bought it.

I've been playing since 5pm Est. Played solo for a an hour and a half, it just keeps getting better and tougher!
Played online, I'm finding it a bit tough to get used to the different guns and driving the tanks.

Who's voice is that? sounds like a "Jack Bower"/ Ford pick up voice, that kinda bugs me, I prefer " the UAV is on line" and what's with the dogs? is that the same as a chopper?

Yep- That's Keifer Sutherland. Probably the reason you won't find the game under its MSRP for a while...

The Zombie mode on this game is extraordinarily fun. Me and my friends got to level 16 'cause i had the flamethrower. It is definitely a must buy.

Has anyone gotten the ray gun yet, i heard it's a one-hit kill, but I never got it. :(
