nor would any self-respecting person who is more than 3 years out of high school be caught dead driving around in a tricked out CRX or Supra.

I followed you right up 'til you said Supra. My brother has an MKIII that's a blast to drive. Turbo straight 6 3.0L motor w/ a 5 speed? Just slightly difference than a high school kid's CRX...
    Ludicrous gibs!

The values of these are cars have been dropping like crazy as of late. Its not uncommon to see loaded 2008 G's with low miles for 150k (sticker was 223k)!! Wait a few more months and I'm sure things will even be better.

But I will promise you one thing. Those Hooters girls you speak of? You pull up in your poopbox, hacked together CRX and I'll go rent a Lambo and we'll see who the girls are more interested in.

It's a little pathetic not to mention creepy that the both of you view a car as a means of meeting women.

As is so often the case, the truth is not as glamorous as we would all like to hope. There are many, many folks out there who are shallow enough to choose their mate based on socioeconomic status (as exemplified by choice of vehicle). I don't think anyone was insinuating they wanted to pick up women based on this criteria, simply that it was possible.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I'd lose to a CRX any day if it meant I could own a Lambo. Who cares, in the end I'm still driving the Lambo and you're in the $500 CRX......

If I had the means I would buy a Lambo for the sound and look, after that the numbers really mean nothing, to me. But that sound... to die and mortgage the house and rob a bank or two for.

If you want speed on a budget get a bike, not a crx with mods, yeck. I'd rather ride/drive something that was built and designed for speed vs making a monster fast econocar in the backyard. No offense to tuner fans, just my take on it.

Btw that is an awesome garage, one I probably will never be able to walk into. :(

And yes a great car is a good way to meet women. I see no problem with that, even though my wife may.

It is continually amazing to me that a jackass such as yourself comes on to a forum and continually makes assumptions about people he knows nothing about based on information gleaned from a conversation among people who have been conversing with each other for years.

Meeting women is a very tricky business, what works one day is a total failure the next. I don't think the type of car you drive will help however.

What I have found that helps meeting women is to find out what interests them.

Learn how to dance and have a clear lead.

Spend some serious money on some cloths that work together.

Smile and listen to them when they talk.

Make them feel like the big deal.

I wonder what names I will be called next?
