Monitor 60- stabilize or replace feet?

Hi, been lurking here for awhile. I have a pair of Polk Monitor 60 fronts, and both of them are a little bit wobbly on my hardwood floor. I've looked at the feet and while I can see how to remove them, I'm not sure that's a good idea. Is there some kind of way to either stabilize the feet better (maybe toss a washer or two in there) or are there replacement feet that would give it a wider base, such as on some of the newer models?
Any help on this would be appreciated. I have a 4 year old, and I'm concerned she'll knock over one of the speakers.
Thanks in advance

You can remove the feet, buy a length of hardwood and some rubber pads at Home Depot or Lowes, and build outrigger feet for your speakers. That should make them more stable for your daughter. The pads will also be better on the hardwood floor than the points, but if you really like the points you can reinstall them to the outriggers. With the light weight of the Monitor 60s, you could consider a piece of composite flooring that might match your cabinet pretty well. Just be careful with the length of the screws you use to attach the outriggers! Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any how-to's available on how to do this? I'm not very handy (ask me to build a computer and I'm there!) and any and all help would be appreciated.
