I made an annoucement at the end of HQ tour, but not sure everyone heard me. Was anyone at Polkfest that currently owns RT800i's?

Edited - open to ANYONE on the board. Reply with a small limerick regarding something about audio.

May 2000 Stereophile Magazine autographed on the front by Wes Phillips, and autographed on the RTi advertisement inside by Matt Polk with 'The Speaker Specialists' hand written (by Matt) underneath.

Thread dies and winner announced at midnight tomorrow.

Cheers,
Russ

not a limerick, but here's what I came up with. No wonder I don't write for a living.

    Woofers may rumble
    Tweeters might sizzle
    Squawkers do midrange
    Matt Polk is the shizzle.

(and I mean that in the most congenial and affirming way; I am a big fan... since 1976)

There once was a man named Matt Polk
Whos subwoofers folk thought were a joke
    With bass only so-so
    Polk developed a Micro-Pro
Now Polk's joke rumbles the folk.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

    Got me an RT55
    Bought it from a dive
Circuit City had it in stock
So I pulled the money from my (smelly) sock
    It cost me a bundle
But it's still full of piss and rumble

I wish I could have gone to Polkfest '08 but half a continent, funds and now raising a 13 year old prevented it. Oh well, maybe next year. Glad to hear it was so much fun. Anyway in with this little diddy:

At a pawn shop I did find my first Polk's
Great speakers I was told by most folks
Well when they played at my house
With the fine sounds of Strauss
My true love for the Polk's was invoked

A paean & limerick by Henry Gibson-
    -who does not use verse
to imply Polk speakers are hokey. Quite the reverse.-

There once was a down physics tweaker
Who tapped out jazz tweaks with his sneaker-
He put in the left, took out the right,
Shook some bass around the bright-
    Eureka! hokey-Polk SDA speaker!
