    You guys aren't considering mail in ballots. If you do early registration, you can get a mail in ballot and vote without ID, in many states.

    Also, with stats out all the time about how many new democrat voters there are, it can have psycholigical effect on other voters. Does anybody remember the hubaloo, when the east coast had Kerry winning, and it depressed voter turnout on the west coast?

    Mail in ballots usually require a request form with some form of identification number to show that you are who you say you are and so that you can't go and vote at a polling office on election day.

    I know first hand since I have already voted in this election since I will be in San Francisco for a week during the election time.

    Don't you think it would have been mentioned somewhere in the article that they registered to vote 30x when someone from Acorn approached them?

    I'm not saying they didn't get screwed, but I don't see the tie to Acorn.......that's all I'm sayin.

    I 'may have to show ID' at my new polling place. I'm not really happy about it, but if that is what it takes, fine. Acorn may sign up false names like I.P Freely, and Mike Hunt. . . but those same people would have to show up to the correct place and actually vote. It's wrong, but it's unlikely that it will have any statistical relevance. Acorn, in my view, is a direct response to certain 'people' engaging in large scale voter suppression of targeted demographics. You know, . . . legal election fraud.

    Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin.
    Both parties are bad for "We The People".
    To restore our Constitutional Republic (we are not a democracy);
    we need an educated and involved populace.

    I have little faith that this is a possibility.
