Prayer request

Well guys I have to go to CT. 1050 miles with a 3 yo, and a 5 yo. I am not looking forward to the drive. My Grandmother has taken a turn for the worse. Nothing serious she is just getting real week. She has been really wanting me to come up so she can say good by. My aunt takes care of her, and she is really struggling with the thought of Mom passing. She is suffering real bad with depression, and has mentioned suicide. I am leaving tomorrow, and driving straight through. I figure it's better to drive when they are sleeping. This is going to be a tough one. My car has 160k on it so I really hope we have no issues getting stuck somewhere.
Prayers for safety, the family, and a good trip are appreciated.
Thanks
Ben

Have a safe trip. Sorry to hear about your grandma, I know you being there will mean a lot to her.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Ben, drive safely and don't speed! Don't be too sad with your aunt or you wont help in cheering her up. If you're worried about the car, just sign up with AAA online and get yourself covered so you can get roadside assistance.

I've been through this scenario recently with the wifey's mother (she got cancer for the third time in fifteen years, but didn't make it).

Good luck, and again, drive safely please: use cruise control, it's easier!

Thanks guy's. I just took a nice long nap, and I am going back for round two. The good news is that my Grandma is 93. She has lead a full(more than full)life, and I know where she is going when she leaves this place. The thing that kills me is that she wants to see me before she goes. If she goes right after I go up and see her it is really going to be tough. She was the one who helped raise me when I was young. Thanks for the offers guys. My phone doesn't work out of this area so I am going to try and make it a straight shot on through.

Thanks guys. I am all caught up on sleep. I know it's the prayers that helped. 11hrs in one evening is unheard of with me. I would like the AAA, but I can't afford it. I am going to be broke by the time I get there.
