What are the odds it's just a fuse?

I bought a Parasound amp on Ebay but the seller says she shorted it out cleaning it with Pledge. ( I know) Anyhoo ... She said it started smoking and sparking. She refunded my dough and said I can still have it for free if I want it. Is it worth it ? Could it just be as easy as replacing a fuse?

    No. Local pick up. I was supposed to get it today. It's a Parasound HCA 1203.

    If you can get it for free snag it up. You can ship it to me, and I can look at it for you. I'm pretty good with stuff like that;) Also you may try replacing the fuse with a lower rated fuse just to see if it dried up, and fixed itself:)
