...a ground loop please. At least I think that's what it is? It's not a hum per se but rather an annoying buzzing in all the speakers. I can't seem to isolate it.

Darla, you have to get rid of the ground pin on one or [possibly] all of your PC's that are plugged into the wall. If you can't do that, get a cheater plug. Are your IC's parallel with any of your PC's?

Yes satelite but I unplugged it already and it's still there. I also took the ground prong off my amp and it helped somewhat but it's still there.

Is there any flourescent fixtures/refridgerators, etc on the same circuit? This would include CFL bulbs? A buzz is usually an appliance/fixture, or signal/AC lines too close. Hum is related to different potentials on ground between 2 or more components.

Sometimes 2 pronged ac equipment doesn't play well with 3 pronged equipment. I found this out with my Panasonic BluRay player, even though all equipment was plugged into the same power supply.

The easiest way to isolate a ground loop hum is to pluyg equipment in 1 at a time and listen for the introduction of hum. Start with amp-speakers...listen, then add 1 piece at a time. Once you find the culprit, there's a number of different approaches. Lifting the gorund on the power amp (not recommended), turning the 2-prong plug 180 degrees if not polarized, etc, etc.

What specific piece of equipment was it that caused the most annoyance?(that resolved with a cheater plug)

I just hit all the main suspects. I didn't go 1x 1 yet. I will narrow it down later. Mainly the PS3, receiver, amp and satellite box.

Here is one of the best way to get rid of ground loops, and still keep the safety of the ground pins:
