not quite sure, my mother says it was supposed to have been maryanne according to the book, but that it appears alan ball has changed that part up and that it's some other creature.

Who wants to bet that Erik is going to hump Sookie in the coming episode? :)

So, what happened to the pig?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

lmao, as long as paquin is naked again, i don't care if it's bill or erik doing the humping. no idea what happened to the pig, i'm thinking maybe maryanne's butler/cook/slave is a shifter like sam. if that's the case, maryanne used her powers to actually turn sam into the dog an episode or so ago, maybe she turns the butler dude into a pig? lol, who knows though, it's definitely a good, fun show.

My wife turned me onto this series, not too bad. I like Erik the vampire, as the revenge plotline is pretty cool. I think Sookie's southern accent, most of them for that matter are just atrocious but I'm getting used to it.

I can't stand that mousy faced girl Jason is for some reason, head over heels for....yikes, what a classic white trash character and actual actress.

I watched about 15 minutes of one episode while we were in a hotel last week. In that 15 minutes I saw some of the absolute worst acting, dialog and story-writing I've seen in my entire life, and I've seen some bad movies...

All I do is watch movies, from I Spit on your Grave to Invictus. You should get out more if it was that bad.

Meh, I've watched it since it came on, these last two episodes have been very dry. I'm hoping they ramp it up with the remaining two.

I've watched every episode. Love this show. A thousand times better than the rediculous Twilight crap.

I agree that the acting is not bad. But not award winning either.
Its just pure entertainment, you never know whats going to happen next on TrueBlood, or what type of creature will turn up next. lol

Erik rulez. I'm a little tired of the Sookie/Bill storyline although I understand it's the core of it all. I'm wondering what's going to happen when Russell, if slain, they're going to go next? You always need a bad guy. Erik's like an anti-hero, not the scourge.

I think Erik will get promoted in LA, Bill and Sookie will do something semi-normal for awhile but that they will have a big were-wolves revenge type storyline soon. I'm not sure, as I've only watched this season, it's just an idea. Humans are visibly shaken by what Russell did on public TV so they may have an dual issue moving forward.

My wife has read the entire series and while not word for word, to say the least, she won't say a damn thing to me. Even she wonders since they've departed from the original quite a bit on many different things.

Yep, great episode and start to season 5! Looks like they upped the anty with the cast as well. Glad to see they are bringing a certain baddy back this season.

Erik and his sister...you go boy! He was too much of a sissy last season. Glad the real Erik is back!

My favorite is Jessica. It's very nice to see her embracing her wild-child now! Oh man she is scorching HOT! You're invited in my home anytime Jessica!

This season just doesn't seem to know where it wants to go. I think they're trying to do too many different lines and they're trying to make everyone a main character now.

Agreed! They need to cut out two things...the ex-army buddies story line and Lafayette possessed by whatever. Boring, stupid and going nowhere. The real highlight to the show now is that Russell Edgington is back.
    No excuses!

I can't help but laugh at the "vampire authority". There's the guy from Spartacus, the guy from Law In Order, the guy from Hell on Wheels, the girl from NCIS LA....I keep seeing them in their other roles on the other shows.
