POLK SR-H1000 RS232 Protocol

I am trying to find more information about how to control this piece from Crestron 2way panels via RS232.

The crestron Integrated Partner list includes the POLK XM tuner, but nothing for SIRIUS.

There is another post
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69359&highlight=SR-H1000 that mentions an NDA to get sirius protocol, where would i get that??


also, Is the IR sensor/input defeated when RS232 is hooked up? as i also need to control the piece via video display GUI with a 1way IR remote

    Hello,
    Thanks for posting on the Forum. I believe Crestron has a module that is already developed for the Sirius series of tuners. This will work with the tuner you have.
    Operating the unit with the RS232 controls requires setting the tuner in the by-pass mode (if you need instructions to do that, email us at polkcs@polkaudio.com). This means that the front panel controls and remote are not usable.
