Got some polk monitor 11s, started a couple of threads, great speakers.

PROBLEM is this, the Left speakers tweeter is louder, and in general the space where i put the left speaker made it even louder in my room. So i switched the right and left speakers and now they sound more balanced, does this make a difference performace wise, as i noticed they were marked left and right (for a real reason)? Thanks for the info.

    Hello,
Usually when one speaker is louder than another or has a different frequency response it is, most often, due to one of the speaker's components (tweeter or driver) either not working or is reduced in output. Probably the best thing to do is, one-at-a-time, remove each component from the cabinet, disconnect the connecting wires and, at a moderate volume, try playing it directly powered by your receiver. In all likelihood one of the components is not functioning correctly. When you know this telephone us at 1-800-377-7655 for parts ordering and mention you are a Club Polk member.
    Regards, Ken

Thanks for your help I do believe its the tweeter, but Polk can't get/doesn't sell the "Peerless" tweeter do they? Also how will you're closest replacement change the sound?

Polk does not sell the Peerless tweeter anymore, but they often pop up used on here and ebay. You could also order the RDO silk dome tweeter from Polk which is their current replacement for all vintage tweeters. Whether you stay with the Peerless or change to the RDO, they both sound great! Good luck.
