Yes, it will be ok. I would advise that you keep the volume level reasonable as that receiver will run out of steam very quickly.

    Yeah, I can't think of a receiver/AVR that isn't common ground.

Don't turn the volume past 12 o'clock and you'll be fine.

Bad advice start out at 7 o'clock and very gradually turn it up. I would not be suprised if you hear distortion starting at around 1000 o'clock. Like Jesse said his receiver will run out of steam quickly.

What I am saying is do not start at 12 o'clock

What kind of music do you listen to?

lol i have not had the volume at 12 o'clock on anything in 15yrs or more(guess i'm getting old).i prefer quality over quantity lol.

as for music i listen to classic rock, blues, vocals ect. basicly 60's to 80's stuff.

i'm using monitor 10b's now with the rx-570 and never go past 9 o'clock and all is good. but the 10b's are 6ohm and the sda's are 4ohm so i'll have to keep an eye on the volume just to be safe UNTIL i can upgrade to more power!!!!.

I'm the same way now but just 5 years ago, I would push my 2b's sometimes until the polyswitches tripped and the 6.5" mids started popping on 1 bass intensive cd.

Welcome. As you begin to upgrade, please audition a 200 WPC power amp; something like an Adcom 555 or Rotel. Your sound stage will expand greatly and the bass will become faster and punchier. I mention those two only because I have used them both with 2Bs with excellent results. There are many others that are as good or better. Enjoy.
