Just purchased a pair of R50's and am eagerly awaiting their delivery.

What exactly does it mean when Polk says they are a "Three-speaker, two-way loudspeaker" ? I think I understand what they mean by three speaker, but what exactly is a two-way loudspeaker?

Also, will they be a good match with my RTi4's?

Here is a picture of a three way speaker. It has a bass driver(woofer) at the bottom, midrange driver in the middle, and a tweeter at the top.
A two way has a bass driver (woofer) and a tweeter only.
What they mean by three driver two way is they have two woofers operating at the same frequencies and a tweeter.

That's crystal clear, the way I hope the R50's will sound.
