Which blu-ray player should I keep,the Panasonic 10a or the Samsung 1400? The Panasonic doesnt do dts ma even with my Onkyo 805 but its a good player & looks great! The Samsung does all the audio.which one would you keep?
My HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

    Keep the samsung , if you dont have to sell heck put it in the guest room or your bedroom .... otherwise Id keep the Samsung if you keep the panny then later want too use the dts you screwed

    My thoughts exactly, I just snagged one up for 300 clams. Definitely go this route, it does everything along the lines with the new 50 minus the BD live and Firmware via ethernet. I'm not really into "extras" so much anyway so I went with the 30.

    Ive got a Pany 30 that I purchased at Walmart during the Fathers day sale,its in my ht.The others are for my living room.The 30 is a good player!! thanks

    I am going to be doing a review on my latest addition to my A/V fleet...the Pioneer the BDP-51FD. After reading countless reviews and anticipation forum threads, this player is gonna compete with the best of em! Just upgraded to their latest firmware, and I haven't had a hiccup yet in performance Blu nor SDVD. I had a Toshiba HD-XA2 and the REON chip was a spectacular upconverter of SDVD. Let me say, the 51FD is running a VERY close second in terms of upconversion quality. There is another firmware update coming in the next few weeks that will allow the player to decode DTS-HDMA internally as well. My sound is all analog, so this is the main reason I went with this player...not about to upgrade my Parasound gear to get into the HDMI bitstream world. Retail is $599 and I picked mine up for $539.

    Sell them both and pick up the PS3 and do the firmware update. Out-of-box it already supports more formats and is more capable than any of the BluRay players out there and some of the new ones coming out. But only get it if you want versatility. If you want to keep the home theater appeal, buy an independent BluRay player. I forgot which one was the most capable and compatible one for this year. I saw an article that had a huge comparison with all of them in a home theater magazine recently.
