At one point, Sony Music here in the US had a number of titles slated for SACD release. Just off of my memory...."Best of Sade", Aerosmith's "Rocks", and a Leonard Cohen title. In other parts of the world, Sony Music also had Jessica Simpson's debut album and the Star Wars soundtracks on its SACD release schedule. Ultimately, all these became "vaporware". Subsequently, US Sony Music did release more SACDs though....from Duran Duran, John Mayer, John Legend, "Phantom of the Opera" movie soundtrack, Yo Yo Ma, etc.

Genesis fansite "World of Genesis" is reporting a 30th anniversary edition of Tony Banks' solo debut "A Curious Feeling" will be released on SACD in 2009. The news was confirmed by the band's engineer Nick Davis on its official website forum.

    An update on the above.....

From an October 12, 2008 news item at the World of Genesis website, looks like Nick Davis has completed nine of eleven tracks on the hybrid multi-channel surround (remixed) SACD of "A Curious Feeling". The production on this SACD is nearing completion.
