Please help recommend a good Sub to go with my Lsi9s.
I am looking for a quality sub to be used with a 2 channel music only system.
I have a small to medium sized room and a budget from $400-700 for the Sub.

My system consists of:
Cambridge Audio Azur 740A integrated amp
Cambridge Audio Azur 640C V2 CD player
2 Lsi9s on epos 35st stands sitting on top of 3” granite plinths

Looking at Polk pro, Velodyne, Martin Logan dynamo
Thanks,
Kevin

The Micros are nice but the Martin Logan dynamo is much quicker and more musical. Go listen for yourself.

Would the PSW1000 (Lsi) Sub be worth waiting for and spending the extra money for? Would they go better with the Lsi9s?

What is your budget, room size, and intended application? (2 channel or home theater).

Also any WAF issues with a really large sub or are there certain dimentions you would not be comfortable going over? (I.E. cant be taller than x or bigger around than y for example.)

How are your DIY skills? Would you even be interested in trying to build one or would you rather purchase a pre-built unit?

Standard answers are SVS, HSU, Epik, eD, Outlaw (HSU design), etc. Just though I might try and taylor something that fits your needs a little better than the standard replys... :)

    Welcome to Club Polk.

Welcome to the club,I'm in the same boat, looking for a small sub to compliment our 2-channel rig.

I've decided on a Velo SPL-1000R...just waiting to get the funds together.

The ML Dynamo might be more in your price range, but there are several good subs on A'gon

Well, it looks like I am going with the Martin Logan. The local tweeter has them for $599.00

    Thanks

Personally I would wait a little longer until you can afford a little more especially with your current setup. You have such a nice setup!!!

I listened to a ton of subs and felt that I needed to spend a little more for my needs....and boy I'm glad I did. My sub is so tight, clean and the perfect addition for my setup.

It looks like you have already committed; however I would have strongly suggested SVS. A friend just got one and it is amazing. Completely blows away my Paradigm Servo 15 reference sub.
