Odd behavior with my Polk Monitor 10Bs...

I noticed that on my Model 10Bs, one of the mid-woofers seem to distort readily. Looking at the driver, you can see excessive excursion on the driver even at moderate volumes. the second mid-woofer appears to play normally.

Now here's the odd thing, switching amps makes the issue go away. Why would one amp over-drive only one mid-woofer and not the other?

Have you tried switching the drivers in the cab with the amplifier channel that is "acting up" and see if the issue persists?

Instead of switching drivers, using the problematic amp, switch the L&R cables and see if the issue follows.
