Do you have the BPT PPC now? Can you post a pic? The one on the Gon and BPT site are the same, but the one in the 6moons review's site looks different.
It looks just like the pic on the 'gon and the BPT website.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

So far they sound great. Tube amps -- I should have done this a long time ago. Female vocals are heavenly. A more thorough review is forthcoming.

Yeah, "convict" is a good term 'cause I'm a lifer. Damn this hobby!
Max -- these amps are light years ahead of the Jolida amps we used to own.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I noticed the manleys were better in a lot of ways too but not light years. I would like to try these sometime to compare. I'm pretty stable right now though.Vinyl, the final frontier...

...the extra cooling bill will be offset by the lower heating bill.
...and by less money spent on other stuff.:)In short, I'm very content with the system...for now.
Fixed it for ya.;)

More update...
Last night I was listening to a CD from my favorite artist -- of course it's one that I've heard a million times and I felt wasn't well recorded. Forget about that -- I was blown away by the realism of the sound. I couldn't believe it was the same CD. More detail, much better vocal presentation, bigger soundstage, yada, yada, yada... It was the best listening experience I've had in a very long time.
Not every CD has this level of improvement. In fact, some songs sound better and some not so on the same CD. But overall, I continue to be highly impressed with the system. For me, it's a higher plateau of sound quality.
One day when I get an extra few bucks, I'll roll the power tubes (I need two quad:eek:). Currently, I'm using the stock tubes which are EH KT88. I think I can get better sound with Shuguang KT88's or maybe some Tungsols. The EH's are a bit on the bright side and a tad analytical.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
