Here is a link to a very thorough DIY project copy of Walker Hi-definition links that attach in parallel to your speaker wire. It's a 36 page pdf so it takes a little time to load. The author did a nice job.

Nice! I'm thinking it may not help with tube amplifiers because they roll off the very high frequencies but I'd like to give it a try sometime. For quite awhile I've been thinking of trying ferites which should perform a similar function but I think this would do a better job.Vinyl, the final frontier...

If this is a project you are interested in, it has great step-by-step instructions and is pretty well written.
