Did Polk send them to the wrong address, or did FedEx deliver to the wrong address?

You need to start with that, as those are two very different scenarios.

If Polk addressed them correctly, how would it be their fault?

Just give Polk a call and see what address they sent the package to. That should answer at least one question in a matter of minutes.

Wow, settle down. You should contact Polk and tell them your shipment never arrived. Then, stay out of it. It's up to the shipper to notify the carrier that a package is lost. Getting in the middle causes problems and headaches you don't need.

Polk isn't going to leave you hanging and these things take time to sort out and investigate.

I'm going on 10 days with a lost package form UPS where the seller on ebay is the only person that can file a claim. He's done his part (very promptly I might add) and now it's a waiting game. I never got involved beyond letting the seller know the package never arrived even though the tracking said it did.

Now just today UPS has contacted me via telephone to confirm the facts. Also if you paid with a credit card if you don't get a resolution that is another option for you. Mentioning legal action at this stage of the game is just plain silly and expensive.

Good luck and chill a little bit

The shipper always has the responsibility regardless of how it was addressed. The recipient should always contact the shipper and let them take it from there. The recipient has no contact or connection to the transaction by way of the carrier; that's on the shipper.

Dude, they have had ONE DAY to try to figure out what's going on. Chill out!

Good things come to those who wait and making yet another post on your woes will get you nowhere. Not to mention, it is in bad taste. Polk has gone beyond the call of duty when it comes to customer service time and time again and I'm sure they will take care of this as expediently as possible. You just have to be patient and give them time.

Now, I'm NOT saying that you are not telling the truth but if every Tom, Dick and Harry claimed the same thing, they would not be in business long. Let them do their thing and let Fed-Ex do their thing and I'm quite sure that in the end that you will have what you ordered. A public bashing of Polk will get you nowhere, especially with the members of the forum that wish the best for you and your unfortunate situation. Please don't get me wrong, I feel for you. What happened should not happen to anybody, but sometimes "life" happens. It happens to all of us from time to time.

Things will work out. Now, have you found out what address they sent it too?

It was, I wasn't calling anyone out. Its just that a polkie got ripped a new one for venting his frustration, when we all knew thats all it was.

Polk has the best CS of nearly any company I have dealt with. They go above, and beyond what most companies do. Right off the bat mentioning legal advice before even giving either company a chance to investigate is pretty lame. I understand the frustration, but once it leaves the door, and it was properly addressed its not on Polk at all. PC can't even spell. That kinda behavior is pretty ghetto to me.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

there is nothing wrong with this thread.... it's settled itself down.. everyone is playing nice again.

Just trying to give the OP some advice before he goes off and blames people before getting his information.

This isn't the first package ever delivered to the wrong address.. there must be some kind of explanation for it. We're just trying to help the guy out.. but if you start your first post by accusing two different companies with taking unnecessary legal action.. it's going to tick people off.

PC, have you talked with FedEx? If not, when the shipper files the claim they will most likely call you. Like I said, I'm going thru the same thing with UPS right now. 11 days so far.

Contact Polk (if you haven't already) then sit back, relax and wait. Polk will NOT leave you hanging. Fed EX is pretty good as far as carriers go, so they will be on top of it (as much as possible).

If you take some of the frustration and attitude you show in this thread with Polk or FedEx that would not be a good thing. It's not Polk's fault, but it is their responsibility to get the ball rolling.

    Good luck
