Which subwoofer cable? Please choose..

Monster THX I100
or
Monster Bass 300

I can get either for about $18 off ebay. If someone finds a better subwoofer cable on ebay for <$20 then I will consider them.

Thanks for your help!

    I wouldn't buy a thing from Monster.

Check out Signal Cable and Blue Jeans Cable.

What about a monoprice subwoofer cable for $5 ... I rather spend more money on ICs then a sub cable.. unless the price is justifiable.

Monoprice is great stuff and that cables would do you better than the Monster one would. I have purchased many products from them and liked every one of them.

Nothing wrong with that. Thats what I did and I am still doing. You get a better appreciation for cables that way I think. I know I did. After you have those cheap cables for a while and try something better. You should be able to tell a pretty big difference. I did anyway......

Edit: Stay away from the Monster!!!

    Cheers

My vote is Monster sucks too. I will not support them in any way shape or form. Frank has much better prices for what you would get from Monster, and I'll plug myself for IC's;)

Over priced, and they have the worst morals of nearly any company out there. They probably make nearly as much from suing as they do selling gear. They even go after the little guys. The worst one was they sued a mini golf coarse for having the name monster golf. WTF does mini golf have to do with a trademark infringement?

That is just pure sick. Imagine, suing a mini golf for that.

Well I can understand all that, and I agree, but stictly speaking quality, if one already has some cables and/or can get them cheap (like reasonably priced), would they be good enough?

Hmm Monster golf? Sounds like some overpaid lawyers---Sounds like when Ty (Beanie Babies) sued a company in the U.K for selling Beanies or having beanies in thier name or something. Well that is the name of a certain type of hat over there-and they were'nt selling any stuffed animals. And this company was in business I think for years before Beanie babies ever became popular-they just hadn't trademarked the name. Here's a small article talking about them and thier influence on eBay. Just freakin pityful.

Right now I'm just pissed out about my new discovery that Warner owns the rights to "Happy Birthday To You" and charges about $10K anytime anybody (outside of a small family celebration) sings it.

The Monoprice Premium cables are wonderful for those of us on tight budgets. The connectors are absolutely phenomenal.

Hilariously enough I DO have a Monster THX sub cable, but I needed a composite video cable and it was the closest thing I had handy. So the video from my Roku Netflix box is Monsterriffic!

For that kind of money you can get one from MIT. http://www.mitcables.com/?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=44&Itemid=29

I thought it was a typo. He must mean some sort of $18 dollar clearance. A friend of mine picked up some m cables for $18 that were originally $159.00 Go figure.

Monster sub cable to me was very muddy and boomy. I went to a Signal and it tightened up and sounded sooooooo much better. Me thinks I paid about $40 for the Signal and it was more than worth it.
