What is your thoughts on a Yamaha dv-c6480 5 disk dvd player.

I think it rocks. Very well built, great sound, great picture.

Don't know about the model you mention but I have the CX-1 and am very pleased with it's performance. Only complaint I have with Yamaha DVD players it that the remote and menus are not as good or as intuitive as the Sony 7700 I still have in my system- but once a move is playing the Yamaha picture looks better- sharper, punchier color.

CX1 is the step-up. It is even better but costs about 4 hundred more. It has film mode and rs232 i know. And of course the copper chasis lol

Yamaha uses Panasonic to make there DVD palyers.If you like Panasonic then you'll like Yamahas.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Save your money and but the panasonics. Same Features on comparable models but for a lot less.
