Now... if we could finally convince them to make either a Sandman or The Preacher movie, I would be in seventh heaven.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

This is going to be a GREAT movie. It's kind of flying under the radar, with the Hulk, Spider-Man, The X-men, Iron Man and Batman getting all the press for comic book to big screen movies. This is by far one of my favorite comic books (graphic novels, really) of all time. I am waiting to see if they will ever adapt a movie from the Kingdom Come series.

    I know, I know. I'm a nerd...........:p

It's kind of flying under the radar

Well, they're advertising in 8 months before it opens as a preview to Dark Knight, the biggest movie in a while. . . so, don't see how this will remain under the radar hype / attention wise for long.

Not familiar with the story / comics, but looks pretty cool. Awesome special effects in the preview.

Well... I did some research on a possible film adaptation of The Preacher and it appears that HBO is working on a series as we speak. Every episode will be a single issue starting from the beginning. Awesome.

Hoy Crap!!!! I love Dr Strange. I love Gaiman. And I love Del Toro. This is probably one of the most exciting bits of entertainment news I have ever heard.

Ok, is that supposed to be batman or what? I dunno, if not the costume is too close. If is is, it ain't Batman without Christian Bale.

Here's more info on the character. Apparently, they made a change to the original costume to make it look more menacing. Sorta looks like Batman though.

It's coming down to just over a week before this movie comes out. I just finished reading the comic again. I wonder how close to the source material it will be? I love the fact that they went all the way with the R rating. A true adult concept.

Watched it at the IMAX last night. Very good movie, much better than I thought it was going to be. I wouldn't suggest bringing the kids to this movie, it has nudity and graphic violence. The movie has very good special effects, and I liked the selection of music they used for the movie worth watching in the IMAX or theater.

PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI

Any female nudity, or is it just waste of good screen flesh time?

    She's Scrumpdeliicous!!!

Got tired of seeing Mr. Manhattan's package though. There was no real value. What, half the time he where's his cod piece and the rest not? Guess they had to give the ladies and some gents their eyeful, too. I only wish they would have done the same for her.

A+++ flick, though, with an opening for more. Can't wait for BLU RAY!!!!

Im actually surprised to see such high reviews. From the previews it looked a little too convoluted and that the story would get lost in all the special FX. Guess Im gonna have to check this one out tho.
