Relaxing Day Off With The Wife

Well, this does not happen very often and yes it should. Our son attends a variety of summer camps during the summer (swimming, fishing, boating (with canoe lessons), First Aid, CPR.... and my wife and I both took the day off while our son went to camp. He did not know we were both off because he would have wanted to go with us. It was time for a little adult time away.
So we went golfing this morning and had lunch in the club house. Great company, great food and beautiful weather – 77° F. After that a little shopping and relaxed for an hour with some good tunes before we had to pick up our son.

As well, the air show is tomorrow so we played golf, ate lunch and had the Snowbirds and 2 CF-18's entertain us during their practice routines. Nothing link being on this golf course as the flight path is right over the 8th hole and 30 seconds later you are on the ground. Two CF-18's did a real low level pass over the 8th as my wife and I were on the green. They were not on their landing approach and were tracking really good. Talk about excitement, well for me anyways. I need to do this more often.

Tomorrow is the air show for my son and I. God I love those birds.
Michael ;)

I think we all have to make more time for US then just the Family. My kids are in Bible school monday thru Fri from 6pm to 830pm. The wife and I use that time for OUR time . It's been nice so far. We went on a nice Bike ride and lastnight we went for a walk.

Your right and that was with high, high humidity. Maybe the music and company somehow obliterated the heat.
