The wife and I are gonna go see if at Charlotte's IMAX. This is the first movie this year that I'm actually stoked about seeing. After reading the responses here, now I'm REALLY stoked!~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

I saw this movie once and thought it was just ok. The joker was just amazing, but everything else just seemed so dry,:(
-
Also it seemed like they hardly showed batman, and when they did he was not fighting, and if he was it was a boring fight scene.
-
So for those who have seen it...... Do you think there is another actor that can do the Joker roll justice after Ledger's performance, or do you think they should just retire the Joker from this series of movies?
I don't really think anyone can do the Joker role like Ledger...But they have to keep him in the next movie.....I think they should just get someone to do the voice and look somewhat like Ledger did and just keep him mainly in the shadows of his cell at Arkum(sp?).......You know, like just seeing bits of his face at a time......it would be the best way for him to return....other than that he just needs to be retired! I don't want to see him played by anyone else, any other way! -

Actually.... he, Edward Norton, and potentially Johnny Depp came to mind when i was thinking about it.
Personally..... i think Bale would have made a good joker, too, but he does great with Batman.
But i'll echo everyone here.... amazing movie.
I don't like clowns, and the joker creeped me out the whole movie, it was amazing. I do remember doing a huge WTF?!?!?! when i heard that Ledger was going to be doing the joker, but he was flat out amazing, i can't think of ANY actor in recent history doing anything that dead on and convincing.
Huge thumbs up, and i'm going to go see it again in IMAX.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

my favorite line of the movie was joker..."im like a dog chasing a car, i dont know what id do if i ever caught one"
i am amazed with everyone's performance. i loved jokers disappearing pencil trick.
i saw it on imax and it was amazing. when batman jumped out the window with the asian guy, i was actually like...holy ****...thats high. great effects.
Im also in the camp of who cares if its long as long as its good...and this movie was great. im going to see it again friday
