The left side woofer (the one above the bipole switch) on my LSiFX has started rattling. I ended up having to disconnect the speaker. Any suggestions?

Okay I took the woofer out this morning and it appears that there is something wrong specifically with that one woofer. This LSi is only about 14 months old and treated very well. Would it be possible for Polk just to send me another woof for it?

Is it "distorted" or just rattling? I have a similar situation with an LSI-15 right now. I have a new tweeter coming and a mid driver too.

If you need to replace anything make sure you mention your membership here as you will receive a nice discount!

By the way, I bought my LSI-15's used, were your FX's new or used? I have the FX's as well and have had no problems...

    Good luck!

Just saw your post... I somehow missed it...

Anyway, YES, call polk and you can get a replacement no problem. I don't know about any possible warranty or not, but with your forum membership it shouldn't run you any more than about 40 bucks or so with shipping and the discount!

Ken at customer service for Polk is Tops in my book. when the LSiC first came out there was a problem with the cross over. when you listened at a high volume and it was close to a CRT television it would distort the color of the TV. I called ken ASAP and he confirmed they knew about this problem and in two days I had a new cross over sent to my door free of charge.
    BTW! THANK YOU KEN!
