Did anyone read the article in the speaker specialist on HDTV?
I'm looking for a 65" HD ready TV, but not sure of which brand to go with. Any suggestions? Whish I knew which one Al Baron went with, seem to have done alot of research. Thanks

I have a Toshiba and cannot complain. Multiple people around here have Toshibas and love them. So I'd say that Toshiba is a safe bet, as with Mitsu. My friend's Samsung isn't bad either (30")LSi 9/C/FX

If you got the cash, get the Mitsubishi. I just got the 55 inch Diamond and it has a great picture and a HD built in tuner. I mounted a yagi antenna on the roof and get Hi Def channels for Free. ( My dish network is very limited in its HD offerings.)

Mits, Toshiba, Hitachi - all excellent picture quality and features. There are several pretty long threads floating around on hdtv choices.

Ya know.... I have been following many of these HDTV posts and have noticed no interest in Sony HDTV products.
Is there something that I should be made aware of here? I bought the Sony 57 and am extremely pleased... so far that is.

Money is always the deciding factor.Pioneer Elite is the way to go,then the wallet might get in the way.Start there and work your way down.
Mitsubishi is fantastic for the money...bang for the buck leader on the marketDan

Thanks to all for the input, I purchased a Mitu 65711 65" Diamond series today for $4000.00 plus tax. I think this will satisfy my needs. Again thanks to all for the input.

Sony rear projection Tv's have lacked over the last couple of years. They did release a new line this year and they are very nice.Well priced.
DOn't worry about what others think of your TV.If it means anything to you,I think they are really nice.
Sony is my choice in glass picture tubes, computer monitors.Plasma Tv's I also feel they are a standout.I'm gearing my livingroom for the 50 inch.Pioneer is making a strong competition. The Pioneers are more and in my opnion better overall.Sony is I would call the bang for the buck.Leader at there price point if you will.
Last words on Sony.........
Sony makes really great products of all types. You can't go wrong.Sony=value.......dollar to dollar.Dan
