What speakers or component have you had the longest and use regularly.

At least once a month and it stays hooked up and not on the shelf or in a closet.
For me it would be my sda 2b's which I bought used in the early 90's. They are currently hooked up to a carver tfm-42 amp, audio experience symphonies pre- and ah 4000 cdp. I use them at least once a week.
My pioneer pl-100 tt which I bought new in the early 80's stays hooked up but I don't quite use it once a month since I have another tt that I use more often.
Correction: I forgot I bought my carver tfm-45 amp a little before the sda 2b's because I took the amp over to audition the 2b's before I bought them.

I would replace my rear LSi surround speakers to match the other speakers in the system. Oops wrong thread.
My turntable is a VPI with a ZYX cart. Sorry, wrong thread again.
I like to crank Led Zep in the car. Aagh! Wrong thread again.
Sax has got to be one of my favorite instruments for solos. Still the wrong thread.
Why would I want to purposely tell any lies? Doh!
Cant say I would want to drive any classic car of any price range. Sigh.
I cant say I would buy a second of any of my favorite components as I would invest the money replacing it with a higher performing component.
I have built the best two channel rig I can. I like to sit back and enjoy the music instead of dwelling on the technical aspects of the system.
The first thing I drink in the morning is pure water.
I would like to have lunch with my family.

I wouldnt pay to watch someone else do my chores. If needed, I would pay someone to complete these so I could devote my time to other priorities.

Two components left over over from my first stereo purchase from April 1987....
Sony TA-AX520 stereo integrated amp
Sony SS-U770 speakers (I think that's the model #....have to look)
While these were originally part of a "rack system" (oh, the rack is still in use too), they have performed admirably over the years and they are still in regular use til now. Nothing exotic, just regular well-made mass market products that refuse to die. -
Bought my Polk Monitor 7As and a Yamaha CA-610II in 1978 while I was an UG at JHU. Still have 'em as the basis of a hifi in our family room and use them at least weekly. We listen to A Prairie Home Companion and Says You! almost every Saturday night on WGBH-FM (Boston).
(The Yamaha T-550 tuner is a couple of years newer).
I do also own an EICO A-4 and HFT-90 which were purchased new by my father (not by me, though) in the 1960s -- I assume these don't count.
The oldest piece of hifi equipment in the house is an early-1950s Radio Craftsmen C-800 AM/FM tuner. This one was given to me a few years back by its original owner. -

My Pioneer Elite dv47a dvd/sacd/dvd audio/ cd player. I owned it since the first day it was released. it's the oldest thing in my system and I use it for 2 channel all the time. I have not replaced it for a good reason. It works great and sounds great. I also have had my Dynaudio Audience 82 for a few years now( which is shocking) and still love em as I did the first day I got em.Dan

I've had my Audio Alchemy Digital Line Controller pre for the longest. I think I've finally built up enough of the rest of my system that I need to look at upgrading it.

It's been a great player. I have had no problems with. It still looks brand new and with the falling of Dvd , I have o desire to ever replace it. When it breaks is when I'll remove it from the system.
I had a Pioneer Elite cld59 laser disc player that I sold years ago. I would still have that. I'm sure it's still going strong.
I love Pioneer Elite gear. They are served me well.

Make that 3 for the elite. I got my 47ai back in the day when I had a Yamaha rcvr with JBL speakers. I figured if I was going to upgrade I might as well make sure it would last a while. I can't believe how cheap these things go for now, I paid $900 for mine plus tax 5 years ago. -
