In case you didn't know, Hsu just let their new sub out of the bag last night.

Sealed, 15" Sub, 1000 watts, WIRELESS connectivity (wow!), major discounts for buying more than one at at time.

Think about the 1 big downfall of a sub. The place in your room for best bass may be impossible to get wires to run to and look nice. I think this is an awesome addition and cannot wait until it trickles into the mainstream. Just think of the possibilities. Wireless rears with SDA technology built in. (along with the wireless interconnect cable for them) A complete wireless SRT system would just be awesome.

I am glad a real speaker company finally came out with something. I just can't wait to see what is on the horizon.

But wouldn`t you loose something, or possibly add something (noise) into the sound ?

I think it is OK for sub to use wireless as it only needs to transfer low frequency signal. But not recommended to use wireless technology on full range speaker. The loss will be a lot higher.

    Very nice!

So do you have a matching pair in the back of the room too? :)

in my 12' x 12' x 8' room sadly not. Freq response from the mains is actually pretty awful against the wall where the couch has to be, so I calibrated for 'edge of your seat' listening to be perfect. I think if I pull the couch 2 feet forward my wife won't understand :)

Its better than any setup I have heard... I'm very happy! They are cleaner or as clean as my other speakers, and they can keep up SPL wise with my 300 watt Outlaw 7900. I'm happy!

For disclosure, that is limited to movie theaters, my old LFM-1 EX/MBM setup and showrooms with KEF equipment.

Mine arrived this week. I held out for the Espresso finish. Probably not the most popular finish to go with, but looks nice with LSi9's in ebony.
I'll try to get some pics up... digital camera is giving me a "memory card error" right now.

no ground prong in the IEC. I guess they are tired of ground loop issues. Works for me. I think they could have put in a ground lift switch like Bryston for that money. Of course they are probably buying their amps from somebody, not making them. Speaking of that what's with the only power rating being "RMS short term"? RMS tests per FTC are supposed to be for an hour aren't they? And 1K watts at what load? 2? 4? 8 ohms? Even the downloadable .pdf manual says only that same "spec". It would be nice to see a real RMS from X-Y HZ @ Z ohms w/ Q% distortion type spec. I sold HSU a few years back. It's good stuff, they should tell buyers the whole story. Did you see that if you want to run 4 you need 4800 watts AC - that's a minimum of two dedicated 20A outlets. I think four might rattle an old house apart!

I noticed that you're using Polk LSI fronts. How do they match up, as far as transition goes?
