I just installed the Polk SR-H1000 in my home rack. I purchased the SR-H1000 to utilize the RS232 port for two way control via Crestron. I am in the process of completing the Sirius NDA to obtain the serial protocol for control, but in the meantime, Sirius technical support has confirmed the settings for the SR-H1000 serial port, 57600 Baud, 8 Data Bits, 1 Stop Bit, No Parity, No Handshaking. And Sirius technical support informs me that the Polk SR-H1000 serial port is not initialized when shipped from the factory. They advise contacting Polk tech support to enable the port.

Can you provide the instructions for initializing the RS232 on the SR-H1000?

Thanks
S.E. Samuels

    Welcome to the forum!

I don't know the answer, but someone on here probably does. Or someone from Polk will see this and respond. The best bet, however, would be to give Polk customer service a call at 800-377-7655.

    Hello,
Thanks for posting on the Forum. I checked with the tuner's project manager and we determined that there is something wrong with your unit and you should have it exchanged.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.
