Polk XM Reference Tuner

I have a Polk XM tuner that I must refresh about every third day. Is this a hardware problem or something with my xm account.
The XM customer service person had absolutely positively nothing to offer on the subject other than cheerful sympathy and a promise to pass along my comments to her keyboard.
Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. Do you keep your tuner on 24/7 ? Or, do you turn it on and off periodically?
Regards, Ken -
I tend to leave it on 24/7.The world is full of answers, some are right and some are wrong. - Neil Young

Hello,
That is the cause of the problem. The tuner needs to be turned on/off every day or so to reacquire the satellite's activation signal. All you need to do is turn it off, then on and you'll be fine.
Regards, Ken -
Thanks Ken.
That is indeed the case. I appreciate your help.
